I recently had the pleasure of dining at Blueline Fry Plantain, a Brooklyn fast food spot that brings the authentic taste of Haiti right to your neighborhood. From the moment I stepped in, I could tell that this place is passionate about delivering genuine Haitian flavors.
My meal started with their homemade Plantain Soup, a comforting and flavorful dish packed with fresh plantain, vegetables, and a blend of house-secret spices that truly made it special. Next, I tried the Fish Plantain Crispy Sandwich — a perfect fusion of crispy fish and perfectly ripe plantains nestled in a bun, bursting with savory goodness. I also enjoyed the Barbecue Fish Plantain, which offered a delightful smoky twist on the classic flavors.

For the main course, I chose the Fried Red Snapper accompanied by fried plantains and black rice. The red snapper was expertly cooked, tender and flaky, complemented beautifully by the sweet fried plantains and the hearty black rice. Every bite transported me to Haiti, capturing the rich culinary traditions and vibrant flavors of the island. Washed it all down homemade mango juice such a great refresher.
Blueline Fry Plantain truly honors Haitian cuisine with every dish, making it a must-visit for anyone craving authentic, delicious food in Brooklyn. Highly recommended!
