This Fall IZON NYFW Futurism Fashion Tech Series is set to showcase the innovative talents of three promising New York-based designers: Jachuku Omotayo, Karim Diallo, and Kiara Marie Suero. Known for pushing boundaries and blending technology with fashion, these emerging designers are poised to redefine the future of denim and beyond.
Jachuku Omotayo: Merging Culture and Innovation
Jachuku Omotayo is a Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary designer whose ethos is turning material into culture. Through fashion and conceptual design, he transforms materials into expressions of history, identity, and contemporary culture. His work has been featured by WWD, Highsnobiety, and Cosmopolitan, with projects including Converse and the Kingspins Denim Makers Lab.
Kiara Marie Suero, 33, is born and raised in New York, and a proud first-generation Dominican. After completing college, she discovered sewing techniques that would become the foundation of her brand. What started as a curiosity turned into KIMASUSHOP- a creative house built on craft, culture, and self-expression.

On January 5th, 2018, Kiara picked up a sewing machine for the first time. Under the guidance of Whensmokeclears, she learned how to navigate the industry and build her brand house from the ground up – mastering jeans, tops, bags, jackets, and more.
That dedication led KIMASUSHOP to working with major clients and celebrities, including Coi Leray, Tokischa, and many more.
Karim Diallo: Pioneering Sustainable Tech-Driven Denim
Karim Diallo focuses on sustainable development and technological integration within fashion. His curated collection will feature eco conscious denim pieces that utilize cutting edge fabric treatments and recycling techniques. For NYFW, Diallo will present a fully custom designed denim ensemble that incorporates smart textiles capable of responding to environmental conditions, alongside an existing piece that exemplifies his commitment to eco-friendly innovation. His designs aim to challenge the industry’s conventions on sustainability and high-tech fashion.
